We used this hotel at the start of our holiday and it was a typical French hotel. The parking was hit and miss and we had to park away from the hotel. We announced our arrival and was given the code of the door and went up a flight of stairs we only had an overnight bag so it was ok for us but would not want to lug a suitcase up. The key was in our door and we stayed in room 14. The rooms have been done out and are basic but comfortable . We had a side street view the room was compact and very hot. We always travel with a kettle so we can have our cups of tea!!! We thought we would eat in the hotel's restaurant but they were full as it was a Saturday and we did not think to book. We had a mixed nights sleep the room was very hot with no breeze we had the window open and it was noisy with Saturday night drinkers so not the best nights sleep, perhaps a fan in the rooms might help? Breakfast which was 6 euro's each was good and plentiful including ham and cheese. Would we book again? Not sure properly not due to the lack of fans and the noise of Saturday...

Read moreAn overnight en route to the South , we picked this hotel to be a little outside Boulogne ....Le Portel proved to be a very agreeable little seaside town basically a suburb of its larger neighbour but with a seaside feel. Le Flobart has a bit of a nautical theme and a Scandi/Habitat feel to the room ( decor was very fresh), which though smallish was very comfortable ,very clean , quiet too so a sound sleep. Bathroom was "compact ". We were off before breakfast so cannot comment on it. So less than £50 for the stay ...I would certainly book again. In its class a 9 out of 10 and I would think a decent option for a seaside break in this area. ....
