Le Triskell — Restaurant in Brest

July 18, passed by on my bike, quite tired and very hungry. Saw the "plat du noir" sign - 13.5 euro for a salad a main, desert, big bottle of cool water and a glass of wine. Absolutely fantastic food, the salad was varied, the chicken kebab and ratatouille were lovely, the fruit salad was refreshing. Great service from the staff. Lovely lady was helpful on initial enquiry but when we returned to order food the man serving told us immediately to hurry as he was too busy. Then when we tried to order the kitchen had closed... It was 1315... Food looked reasonable on others plates (they were still serving as we left) but perhaps customer care could...

Alors la... je suis bluffé. On sent l'entreprise familiale. Des jeunes qui servent qui sont très aimables, une cuisine très bonne, une ambiance conviviale, tout le monde dit bonjour à tout le monde... c'est un environnement très agréable. Le restaurant possède une terrasse... très agréable en été. La cuisine est excellente. La cuisson est complètement maîtrisée, service rapide, ça faut brasserie et j'ai vu d'autres clients en train de prendre un ptit déjeuner. Un petit défaut, le choix est limité... mais c'est largement compensé par une cuisine parfaite. Ce que j'ai préféré, c'est le fait que le restaurant ne court pas après l'argent. On sent cette envie de faire plaisir au client en oubliant le profit. J'espère franchement que ce restaurant familial...
