I told my family in this vacation I want to visit an Irish Pub to drink Guinness and to eat Burger. Today we stopped by accident at this place and my wish came true.

Probably we arrived a little too early as we were waiting for almost 20 minutes without getting noticed. We pointed out friendly to the waiter that we are here for dinner. Then it worked very well.

The pub is very nice in it's typical Irish style. On three floors you will definitely find a table. Well, at the third floor there is the saloon to drink whiskey and to relax. Outdoor seats are available, too.

Guinness beer, nothing to say. Burger, damn good. French fries, well done.

All depends what you like. We took fish&chips, burger and chicken wrap. Fish in breadcrumbs was fried in deep oil- very heavy, not my preference. Frites… well, quite oily and not crisp - not bad but not super good either. burger was really good and the best was definitely the warp with chicken (fresh vegetables with some mint - super). Starters: good fresh salmon and crisp sardines, lentiles pasta - average. Moules that our neighbours were consuming looked and smelled very nice… we should probably choose the same and the note would be...

I had the fish and chips - a bit British of me but this is in Brittany! 😁. Suffice to say it was the equal of many an English pub and a good deal better than some I've been in. Curiously, the village is twinned with Cawsand near Plymouth which is the last place I had pub fish and chips in. Sorry Cawsand, Brittany beat you on this one.
