Ty korn Ouessant — Restaurant in Brest

Ate twice on vacation here with rather varied experiences each night. the first night I ordered à moqueca brasilienne and gratin de chocolate et poire both cooked perfectly. The second night I had a pork dish served with mashed potatoes. The pork had almost no flavor and the mashed potatoes were industrial I ordered the gratin again for dessert but it was served undercooked when I said something to the waitress I got the old “it’s France it’s cooked like that” I don’t know … I’ve been here 12 years now and I can assure you that it was not fully cooked. For the price yeah it’s expensive but worth it if it’s cooked perfectly with a service respectable towards the clients. Unfortunately I found it to be a 50/50 bet on if it would be...

L’accueil du propriétaire barbu (au rez-de-chaussée) : glacial, il ne m’a pas répondu à mon modeste « au revoir » non plus. Bon… On se retrouve au deuxième étage et là on va avoir droit à un repas « micro-ondes » au vu de la consistance « molle » des plats (une mention spécialement horrible au kouign amann tout mou décongelé en 7 minutes chrono ! Chantilly sans consistance et tranche de mandarine séchée par le four…). Le poulpe se mâchait comme un chewing-gum. Ah oui, j’oubliais la serveuse (très sympathique au demeurant) qui n’a pas réussi à ouvrir la bouteille de vin (elle a demandé à un collègue finalement). Faut changer de profession ma chère dame :D Le pain : des tranches innommables. Pour couronner le tout, un prix exorbitant (chaque plat coûte 28€ et avec le poulpe y avait pas grand chose à se mettre sous la dent… une « vinaigrette lilliputienne ».
