Brasserie l'antidote — Restaurant in Brignoles

Firstly walking in, the lady at the counter was very indifferent and not very friendly. Being vegan my friend and I asked her whether they sell anything without egg, milk or meat. The worker pointed at a boulgour salad and we asked again so there’s no meat or anything in there and she said no. We paid and sat to eat but before I opened the box I realised there was tuna in the salad. We went back inside and explained that I couldn’t eat it, and instead of apologising or asking if we wanted anything else we were met with a very rude response. I gave her back the salad and said well I don’t want to throw it away so she said fine and replaced it in the vitrine. I then asked if we could get something to replace it and she just said no, that’s it’s our fault, and did I expect her to write out every ingredient in the salad. An argument ensued where her colleagues joined in and they continued to shout at us. Finally they basically threw a slice of quiche in our face and told us to leave. I think these people need a course in hospitality and common decency.

Literally the worst customer service. This place is in a sleepy village and we were the only ones there and instead of being understanding about it, they just hurled abuse. To have the nerve to just put the salad I’d paid for back in the vitrine to resell and then not offer a different option is simply ridiculous. Please do yourself a favour and go somewhere else...

Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant. Et encore moins le lundi ! Le lundi, n'est de toute évidence, pas le jour de livraison des boissons, plus rien à boire, mis à part du sirop, notamment le sirop de cerise qui pour le coup a été la seule satisfaction du repas. Je n'avais déjà pas un bon pressentiment. Quand la serveuse en terrasse, qui est de toute évidence la gérante vous répond "je vais voir ce que je peux faire" lorsque vous demandez une table, ne semble pas avoir besoin de clients supplémentaires. Ce restaurant fait simplement penser à un piège à touristes ! Dommage, nous ne sommes pas touristes, alors je ne me cacherais pas auprès de mes connaissances sur cet établissement ! Il est mentionné "steak haché" sur l'une des galettes proposer sur la carte, à l'arrivée grosse déception, la mention exacte serais pour moi "viande hachée"... Et encore... puisque étant de la restauration également, je peux affirmer qu'il ne s'agit ni plus ni moins d'une vulgaire préparation de viande que l'on retrouve généralement sur les pizzas. J'avais d'ailleurs demandé à l'avoir sans oignons et on m'a répondu que cela n'était pas possible, car c'était "marinée", la bonne blague, pour moi, c'était plutôt du "déjà préparer." J'ai fait savoir mon mécontentement et décide de ne pas manger le plat, alors que je déteste le gâchis, car pour moi, il y a tromperie sur la marchandise, étrangement, la gérante avait tous les arguments pour me contredire alors que c'est soit disant le plat "phare" de ses habitués... Et enfin, au moment de l'addition, je suis surprise que l'on ne nous donne pas la note avant le règlement, est-ce normal de ne pas pouvoir contrôler ce que l'on vous facture ?! Bien évidemment une fois avoir payé, je constaterais que l'on m'a bien facturé ce plat que je n'ai pas consommé, normal me direz vous puisqu'il a tout de même été préparé, mais même pas une remise alors que nous n'avons même pas pris les boissons des menus enfants, puisqu'il n'y avait...

Very friendly and helpful staff. The girl that helped us did her best to communicate with me in English and recommend some rather excellent dishes (Crépe Carnivor & some crépe with caramalized apple, caramel, vanilla icecream and whipped cream). It takes a while before the crèpes are ready, but quality takes time, and the food quality is great. Prices are also quite affordable, and unlike the neighbours, they don't stop working at 14h.

The only downside was that we were next to a couple that smoked almost non-stop, so if I could make a recommendation, it would be to create a smokers area and...
