We we’re on vacation in the area and looking for a good spot that was near where we were staying. When we saw the menu and Reviews, we were interested, however when I noticed something unique and unusual like duck lasagna, we had to visit.
It was a Sunday night about 715 and though the place was nearly full, we were able to get seated right away inside. Our server was bilingual and spoke perfect English, which is always helpful though I do speak some French. I knew that I wanted the duck lasagna, but we needed to figure out what my wife would prefer. She ended up choosing the marinated pig cheek.
The service was a little quicker than we are used to in France… Almost about what you would get in the Us. Fortunately, the rest of the service was in wonderfully typical French fashion. We were never rushed, never encouraged to leave or offered our bill. We absolutely enjoyed every moment of the evening.
Both of our dishes were absolutely amazing! The chef who came up with the idea of duck lasagna, covered in gravy, nestled in gravy of duck confit is an absolute genius. Every bite was stunningly delicious. My wife’s marinated pork cheeks were also a delight. We have no regrets visiting here… In fact, we might even come back.
Well, I had hoped to be able to post a second review because we did go back a second night. Unfortunately, Google only let you post one so here we are with an update.
All of the other aspects of the review are the same the atmosphere there was no weight for a seat. The service… All were on par and as expected. Tonight we had a single pizza and a bowl of fries to share. We chose the pizza Geo and we’re not disappointed at all. We were actually amazed at how low the price was because in California we would’ve paid quite a bit more for a piece of that quality. €16/$18… Really was an amazing price for the gourmet pizza that we were served. We finish things off with an amazing vanilla caramel candy nut creation that was absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, I can’t recall the name of it, but pointed the picture and they will serve it to you. You will not be sorry. Lol.
Again, we cannot recommend this place highly enough and suggest if you’re in the area and looking for interesting, well fought through, and amazingly cooked food served with a smile and no rush. This...

The place was packed but they managed to get us a table in 30 minutes. The Staff is professional, friendly & kind, specially the owner and the man with very light blonde hair. We were there with our dog and they brought a bowl with water for her, which is always appreciated.
The food is just delicious. We ordered a couple pizzas: they were very fine and with a peculiar combination of ingredients that we had never tried before but were very pleasant. The service was a little slow but perfectly understandable, considering the restaurant was completely full.
The atmosphere is very nice, lively and the spot it's just beautiful and truly pleasant to be in.
Absolutely recommended. If we are back in Céret, we will...
Read moreJust came on a Monday for a cappuccino and asking for a croissant, they didn’t have any croissants but the waitress kindly suggested to go to the closest bakery, that is closed on a Monday!! I thought that a customer service would know that all bakeries are closed on a Monday… And the place could easily bake themselves few croissants even industrial ones, you just have to put them in the oven! I asked for a cappuccino in a cup as I have noticed for some reasons they served in glasses, the waitress acknowledged but then served me a cappuccino badly done as the frothed milk was just bubbles in a glass!
The food is good, the prices a bit pricey but the service is not...
