The two Patrons are quite delightful. They are friendly and always willing to explain exactly what is on the menu and even show you your meat before it is cooked. The attention to detail is breathtaking, bearing in mind that it is only the two of them. Everything is presented beautifully and also prepared in an open kitchen. The meats are cooked to perfection and the sauces and vegetables are also brilliant. Puddings are home made and delicious and as for the cheese - well it is a great selection served with advice on which order to eat it to most enjoy all the flavours. Amazing food. Lovely couple provide top service, feels very personal and special, and at such a reasonable price and high quality. Have easily paid 4 times as much for a similar quality of food and service (without the personal touch of the owners) in London. Low key (price wise) fine dining. Watch out for the Google maps destination. This is off and takes you through the town and past the restaurant. Restaurant is part of the old town and pretty much in the centre (opposite a very lively cafe/bar) very easy to miss. Would recommend...

We discovered this fantastic restaurant in August, 10 minutes before opening time but were warmly welcomed in whilst they prepared for the evening. The food is absolutely fabulous and the service was so friendly. There is an open kitchen and the chef came over many times to chat and make sure we were happy. They clearly care a lot and this comes through in the food, all of which is prepared by them and was delicious. Happy to recommend and hope to...
