Temple beach — Restaurant in Céret

That was just bad. I ordered an entrecôte and risotto for my wife. The meat was tougher than a shoe sole and the risotto looked more like rice pudding with half a kilo of butter in it, with overcooked prawns that were like mush under the shell. When the waitress asked me if everything was ok, I told her the problem, whereupon she called the manager without saying a word to me. Then I also explained everything to the manager, whereupon he tried to explain to me that an entrecôte has to be a bit harder. Dude, I couldn't even cut the rubber boot, let alone chew it. The manager said something to the waitress and the cashier and disappeared into thin air. The cashier relaxed and charged me full price, with the manager probably ready to call the police as he thought I was some food nomad as a tourist. Guys with honest feedback like this, you should listen to the customer a bit, then things will probably go up for you. But that's...

We were looking forward to visiting this beach side restaurant as the reviews were good. Alas it didn't meet our expectations. When we arrived, they were reluctant to take us because of staffing issues, as we were told initially. One of the waitress's said she didn't want to serve us in French, knowing that one member could understand perfectly. A waiter showed us to a table looking out on the beach which had a great view, however was similar to other beach fronted restaurants in the area. The starters were excellent and enjoyed by all. The mains were mediocre and the fries were dried and not appealing. There was little care shown in the service by some of the serving team, even to say my husband's dish was dropped on the table in front of him, which sent some food across the table. We left...

Very pretentious and not helpful staff: clearly very busy in the evenings and don't really want anyone in just for drinks. We were two families of 8 people who cycled there for a drink at about 6pm. They were laying tables for food (fine) but there was absolutely no one there and yet they would only allow us to sit at a small unshaded table (34 degrees) as presumably all tables were booked for food for later in the evening (again......absolutely no one there at 6pm) and when we asked if it was possible to sit in the shade two staff said no!!!!! We decided to stay for a quick drink........nearly 10 minutes went by and neither came to take our order so we eventually left. Clearly they don't...
