Wow. A proper barista and roaster in the heart of (IMO) the southern France coffee desert!
Tiny, tucked in between the Modern Art Museum and a supermarket, and with lots of outside table space, these guys are roasting, selling beans, and making great coffee with love and care.
As not everywhere can get five stars, I’m taking slight issue with the milk frothing which seemed a bit perfunctory and made our flat whites very flat. And the beans were a tad ‘floral’ for our particular tastes - we like a sweeter, more chocolatey flavour. But these are minor quibbles. We’ll be back supporting proper this coffee...
Read moreThe barista is a passionate kawa lover. He offered me a Colombian cherish fiesta beans that was roasted for espresso. I brewed it in a french press at 88’C for 4-5 mn. It turned out to be a very well balanced beverage, flavourished, quite fruity and rounded. Bravo. Looking forward to tasting the Guatemala !...
