Lovely products but service leaves a lot to be desired. We visited twice recently. The first time, the slice of bread I ordered was dropped on the floor after it had been sliced by a member of staff. The server was planning to give me this piece of bread until I asked if I could have a fresh piece of bread which had not been dropped on the floor (not unreasonable). The second time we visited two days ago, the female server was really quite rude and corrected my French accent. It was perfectly obvious that I was asking for a mint and a pot of coffee ice cream. J'ai passé quelques jours à Cabrerets la semaine dernière. Beaucoup de personnes m'avaient conseillé cette boulangerie. Par curiosité, j'y suis allée, le jour de mon départ, pour ramener du bon pain chez moi. Comment vous dire que je n'ai absolument pas été déçue !!! Cette boulangerie est bien située. Les vendeuses sont très accueillantes. Quand j'ai vu la queue qui se formait et les gens attendre, j'ai compris que j'étais tombé sur LA BOULANGERIE !!! Je confirme que si j'avais pu, j'aurai tout acheté dans la boutique. J'ai pris les tartelettes aux noix qui sont vraiment fameuses. Quant au pain de campagne et le pain aux noix et abricots, je ne saurai le décrire qu'en des termes vraiment élogieux : tendre, goûtu a souhait, vraiment très bon. Food good and fresh, made on site. Pizzas and bread sold by the KG, so if you only want a couple of slices of their amazing 1.5m delicious loaf, that is fine! (Other breads are available).
