A Piniccia di Saleccia — Restaurant in Calvi

After anchoring our boat, we took a short walk in the forest. Suddenly, a beautiful space with a bar emerges from the forest. You arrive hungry at a place with small children, where you made a lot of effort to get to the restaurant and the staff will tell you that they have no table and that they will not give you food. Alternatively, they will give you poor nuggets with chips. Terrible! They would rather seat people who come by taxi boat than customers with their own boat. Very bad situation. Very! You can't even sit down without a table reservation! The restaurant wasn't full at all and there were a few empty tables where we could sit. Next time I'll anchor lower and go eat at Cabane du Lodu. As a non-white family visiting Corsica, this was one of the most disappointing and painful moments of our trip. After a long, difficult off road drive with my wife and our two young sons (3 and 10 years old), we arrived to find many empty tables at the restaurant. We sat briefly at one, but were told to leave because it was “reserved.” We respectfully stood up, but then waited 15 minutes while the same table stayed empty.

Soon after, other white French visitors arrived without reservations, and were immediately given tables—including the same one we had just been told was unavailable. Nous sommes arrivées à trois pour dormir en Yourte. A peine arrivées l'accueil est glacial. On a l'impression d'être de trop. On dit pourquoi nous sommes là, on a réservé une yourte. Cependant, il faut que qq'un nous y amène... et la.. 3 personnes du personnel sont la à ce lancer la tache de " qui va jusque la yourte" .. on voyait que ça les ennuyait profondément.. je ne savais pas que c'était si contraignant d'amener un client à sa chambre ... mais bon apparemment oui. Une de mes amies est allergiques au piqûres de quêpes.. et juste au dessus de la douche ouverte il y a nid, elle le signale gentillement et la personne lui répond " bah oui et alors ! " sur un ton des plus dédaigneux. Après cela, le lendemain ne voulant pas laisser nos déchets dans la yourte avec la chaleur nous demandons a un serveur si il veut bien les mettre dans un poubelle derrière le bar et la on à droit à " seulement si vous consommer qq chose !!!" .. euhhhh.... j'étais réellement choquée. Par soucis de propreté et de politesse on ne laisse pas nos affaires et voila ce qu'on nous dit!! il y a encore qq remarques déplacées pour un lieu qui se dit touristique mais bon je vous les passe.. Après notre déception et cet accueil plus que médiocre, mon amie c'est permise de mettre son avis sur google.. LE PROPRIETAIRE LUI A TELEPHONE ET L'A ENGEULE POUR SON COMMENTAIRE!!! j'en suis toujours choquée... donc voila je vous fait part de notre aventure chez eux..
