If you're looking for flawless excellence, exacting standards, and staff at the click of your fingers, stay away. If you have a sense of humour and a love for a bit of quirkiness, this is the place for you. It's the kind of place Hemingway would have loved. There's a smidgen of Fawlty Towers to the place, and that's not a bad thing. Our party of six spent three plus weeks in France including a week in a Paris apartment, a week on a lovely canal boat, a week in a beautiful house in the Dordogne, and a final two nights at the Apostrophe. Hands down, the Apostrophe was our unanimous favourite. The Apostrophe is work of art in progress. Franck, the owner/manager, is meticulously refurbishing the hotel..
