Wanted to leave a good review but struggling to do so, let me explain why. Had high hopes and had seen the reviews before eating here. The welcome was a little flat, anyway, we got a table. I was with my mum and we decided to share the pizzas. She wanted a royale and I wanted the biquette. When we ordered the royale, I asked for a royale but half with anchovies. I ordered the biquette. When the waitress conveyed the order to the chef, she said half royal and half anchoyade. When she returned to the table, I corrected the order to be all royale and some anchovies on one half as requested. We received a half royal and half anchoyade. Why bother ? My biquette felt a bit lacking, checked the menu and had no walnuts and no honey. As we were taking the uneaten pizza to go, I asked for this to be added, which the waitress did, but no acknowledgment that this had been missed first time. Just complete indifference. Shame as the pizza was tasty. The crust was hard and this was even more noticeable as the pizzas were served whole and not cut, we had to cut through at the table using our own table knives. Perhaps investing in a pizza cutter in future might be a good idea. Watched the waitress putting pizzas in boxes for takeaway and suggest spending a week at domino’s to see how they manage their pizza logistics might help this business. Lots of good ideas and can see this being a decent place but would only consider take away in future as the service was too rough for me. I see the restaurant does reply to comments so I welcome and feedback to my review. Let’s hope my review and suggestions are received with...
