Buffalo Grill La Glacerie — Restaurant in Cherbourg

A very mixed experience! We arrived without a booking and it was surprisingly busy for a Monday evening. Nevertheless we were seated quickly and without fuss. We had a charming Latvian waitress who had excellent English and was efficient and helpful. Food arrived quickly. We had two rib steaks that, for a grillhouse were both well below par. Both were cooked rare as ordered and the bits of beef that we dissected out from the gristle were tasty if a little chewy. However, more than half of what was left on our plates was simply inedible - suggesting to me an old animal past its prime. Really poor for a restaurant with beef as its main menu item. Drinks were ok, a shared American Coupe was good as was the final coffee. A bill for two of €63 was good but the quality of the beef needs...

Really disappointing food & awful service.

The kid's burger was pink inside - definitely not cooked safely. We asked them to cook it some more & it came back less pink but still pink. My son didn't eat it.

Throughout the whole visit the waiter was kind of rude, yet friendly when attending to the table next to us with French customers.

We had been here a year previous & the food was nice, with really good service. It was disappointing to find both the food & the service decline so much.

Turned up, staff friendly and seated quickly. Menu choices as expected. Waiter got drink order wrong, every other table apart from us got bread and water. Starter was ok, waiter brought main courses and put them down before we were finished. Bbq ribs cold, chili microwaved to extent it could have caused burns it was that hot. A bit more attention and being treated the same as the other customers would have made it a better experience. Have eaten in 2 Buffalo Grills now and walked away without being satisfied, there...
