fossê Saint Ange (wings of an angel) Myriams menu always surprises and gets the taste buds worked up. She has childhood travel connection to the Far East & beyond which she weaves into her exquisite dishes (all locally-sourced-products). I had fois -gras & quince as my starter & the lamb tagine styled dish as my main. This was on a generous bed of authentic styled Moroccan couscous which was delicious - the lamb was tender - adequately moist and spiced to compliment the couscous which hit memories of my last trip to Marrakesh . It was Perfect fuel food for a cold evening in central France. Mark enjoyed the burrata starter which was served on a portion of lightly spiced cooked pears which took a simple dish to another level of deliciousness. His main of Mushroom ravioli was homemade packets of Italian magic - another generation portion which he couldn’t finish but took home as he couldn’t fathom wasting it . Lovely restaurant by the gates into Richlieu, came recommended and did not disappoint. Had at least two vegetarian options available on menu. We had a really wonderful dinner here on Wednesday 5th June, including a fabulous performance from the singing waiter/proprietor, in a duet with one of our guests! The food was excellent throughout, the atmosphere charming and we felt very well looked after. It is also very good value for a place of such quality. This restaurant is definitely worth a detour and we will be back at the earliest...
