This place is truly amazing. Can not rate it highly enough! Ran by a husband and wife, who are most friendly, helpful and very attentive. We were greeted by a roaring fire on a wet and cold day at this awesomely decorated restaurant. We had a fantastic meal in this cosy traditional restaurant . The duck was cooked before us over grape vine wood and was delicious. The owners who were the chef and his wife made us very welcome and happily shared their extensive knowledge of cognacs and the locality . Lovely friendly place. The patron/chef is friendly and knowledgeable. There is a lovely sunny courtyard with a tree for shade and on a wet day you can sit by the roaring fire over which your steaks, duck or fish is cooked in front of you.
