Restaurant Jeux de Pots — Restaurant in Confolens

Last night ( the 20 th ) saw myself and four friends visit this enchanting and elegant place. The host ( Florence ) and her staff were all I thought they would be - hardworking, attentive and so friendly! Florence is the frontline and, like a conductor of an Orchestra , makes it all happen with her busy Bee energy. The Chef's know their stuff and all dishes were for me memorable ( I tried the Kidney dish and though I don't usual go for this particular offal ,I thought it marvellous!!!). I have a dog and my friends have one too and both were made welcome! Top tip...have a pre dinner drink on the Terrace and see life pass by via the River and Bridge! Thank you Florence, Jerome and the gentleman who's name I don't know but I saw in the kitchen creation of the dishes!! Kind...

Waaaouuuhh quelle belle soirée partagée avec des amis pour un dîner au restaurant Aux Jeux de Pots. Accueillis à notre arrivée par le chef Jérôme, tout de suite le courant est passé. Ambiance des plus chaleureuses quasi familiales dans ce petit restaurant à Verteuil au bord de la Charente. Très beau décor feutré et que dire de la cuisine du chef Jérôme goûteuse et raffinée et du service également assurée par Florence et Romain tous aux petits soins pour nous tout au long du repas et toujours avec le sourire, un petit mot gentil pour nous demander si tout allait bien. Cuisine et service digne de l’art culinaire et du service à la française au top du top. Vraiment merci à eux et bravo du fond du cœur pour cette soirée exceptionnelle. Cuisine savoureuse et un dessert la crème brûlée à la mûre, une création du chef Jérôme à tomber par terre, une tuerie. Cerise sur le gâteau, Florence à la fin du repas nous a lu un texte magnifique écrit par Rabelais, Mon mari, avec beaucoup de talent. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant pour sa qualité, cuisine, service, ambiance, on se sent comme chez soi en famille. Un grand MERCI à eux de faire honneur à la restauration. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter et les yeux fermés non pas tout à fait non plus pour ne pas tomber dans la Charente, ce serait trop dommage de rater un repas concocté avec amour par le chef Jérôme et servi avec autant de gentillesse et de petites attentions par Florence, le chef Jérôme et lRomain. My wife and I had a beautiful lunch today at a truly lovely establishment.

Hosted and welcomed by Florence we were served delicious food in an undeniably beautiful setting.

This is more than just a restaurant … it is a reflection of the passion and love that goes into creating a wonderful and memorable experience.

We look forward to visiting again and to share with family and friends.
