Astonishingly rude staff and aggressive owner.
Arrived right before 3pm for a drink and some snack , was difficult to understand which areas of the restaurant/terrace by the river was opened/closed as clients were still eating there, and where we could get a drink and sit.
A waiter indicated that kitchen was closed, and upon asking another waiter if we could order drinks from the bar and bring them on the terrace, the bearded waiter got totally upset that we asked another waiter after he told us it was closed. Then a lady jumped in the conversation as I asked once again where we could get service, immediately started shouting and getting hyper repeating only the pool was opened. Her sudden upset attitude surprised us and totally upset my wife. She started to shout in front of our 2 kids like mad, immediately told us to leave the property else she punch my wife in her face! That lady claimed to be the owner, displaying her fight face ready to raise her fists.

Read moreExcellent restaurant. We had dinner here twice, during our 3 day-stay at the hotel Dominique Collona (across the yard from this restaurant.) We loved it. We tried Charcuterie, the wild boar stew, the special of the day (fish), and several other dishes, that I can't remember (I am not much of a foodie...) Everything was made with fresh, quality, ingredients, and the kitchen knows what it's doing. Service and atmosphere were welcoming and warm. And we were introduced here to Brocciu cheese (very popular in Corsica, but it's our first time to visit the island, so our first time to try this cheese) and we really liked it. Kept ordering dishes with this cheese in other places we visited, so thanks to this restaurant for introducing us to this Corsica staple. Oh, and the cocktails were great, as well. One more thing: the pasta served with the wild boar stew was so good, I enjoyed having it on its own,...
Read moreSecluded place just 7 min away from the citadel in Corte, we headed there from an Internet review. The review was old so all the information was not up to date but we were really pleased with the place. The people there were friendly with us even when we barged with two small kids. The food arrived quickly after the order and was delicious. We were seated next to the river and we're able to enjoy beautiful wild birds just next to us. And after a good meal, we had the time to enjoy some time in the swimming pool. Water was clear, just warm enough and overall it was a really nice break from the sun in our daily visit in Corte. Enjoy the place if...
