Le Chalet, My google review :

The house-made, rustic Corsican cuisine at this landmark of a family restaurant at a main crossroad in the mountains near Mt. D'Oro is a welcome break, serving a la carte meals, pizza or reasonably-priced 3-course menus of a starter, entree, dessert, bread and wine either al-fresco on the patio or indoors in one of the rooms. Local trout, asparagus, green salad, charcuterie, brocce and mint canneloni, the best homemade headcheese I ever tasted, for example.

One can have just a coffee or a beer without having lunch or dinner, making the twisting roads between Ajaccio, Corte, the Eastern Plain (Plaine Orientale) and Ghisoni an enjoyable pause.

When my husband and I stopped by for a quick and delicious lunch last week, new, bigger, wheelchair-accessable bathrooms were being constructed, which will make walking past the boars head and sausages hanging from the ceiling much more comfortable than the dreadful, cramped water closets that were previously there.

Pleasant service with a smile, too.

There is also a hiking trail right out the door, which may connect to the GR 20, a backpacker's trail through the alpine...

Small road side restaurant that also has a corner selling local sausages and delicacies. I was there off season between the lunch and dinner opening times. Menu was sandwiches or cold pizza slice. Baguette sized sandwiches were freshly made and tasted fine, pizza slice taste would have tasted better if heated. In summer there is an outside seating area and the dinner menu and dinner part of the restaurant did promise a bit more than the in between hours menu. Staff were friendly and European debit cards...

We were there on Saturday. The staff works there as if under duress. Only sandwiches to eat. What you see in Google photos is not available to eat. Waste of time. Better to go further and find another place to eat.
