As for the food, the beef fillet was well-cooked and tasty, but the potatoes on the side were wilted. The truffle tagliatelle were good, while the tuna tagliata with sweet potatoes and vanilla turned out to be excessively sweet.

I ordered the goat cheese risotto: since the rice grains were so overcooked that they could easily be spread on the edge of the plate, I considered it a mistake in preparation. When I asked a waiter if this was the intended texture, I received an irritated affirmative answer. In my opinion, the word risotto should be removed from the menu and replaced with goat cheese and fig rice purée.

This is a truly excellent restaurant with amazing views of the beautiful Lac de Sainte-Croix. A beautifully presented, stylish restaurant with smart and attentive staff who gave a warm welcome and consistent service throughout. The atmosphere is wonderful. Although we were the first lunchtime diners to arrive and 30 minutes early for our reservation, we were greeted and shown straight to our table which, as requested, was on the edge of the terrace with perfect views of the lake.
