Les Lauriers — Restaurant in Dijon

Le dîner était loin en dessous de la moyenne. Le service était antipathique et le propriétaire a essayé de nous laisser payer deux fois. Finalement, nous avons laissé la police venir pour le résoudre.

The dinner was horrible and the service unfriendly. Finally they tried to make us pay twice. We asked the police to moderate and this helped. Thanks to the Dijon police.

Das Essen war schrecklich und extrem Unfreundlich. Am Ende haben sie probiert uns 2x zahlen zu lassen. Die Polizie musste vermitteln um es zu loesen.

Had a few evening and lunch time meals. My feel on it has been mixed and the last couple of times I felt the service wasn't great. In fact, my last visit was last week for lunch, took one of their set menu and interestingly enough, the table next too me who ordered the same thing, had a better deal that I had. The boeuf bourguignon with frites was what I got, and hold on tight, I had 3 pieces of meat. Table next to me had at least 5 pieces, good portion of frites and salad garnish. It must have been my English accent that confused them. Anyway, the conclusion is that the service and quality has gone down over the years and this is also something confirmed by Friends and Family who live locally and used to come to this restaurant. I don't think I will be going back again myself!

C'est un restaurant que j'ai fréquenté de temps en temps le soir ainsi que le midi. Ces dernier temps le service n’a pas été très sympathique ainsi que la qualité des repas. J'y suis allez le midi la semaine dernière et j’ai pris l’un de leur menu fixe. J’ai été surpris de voir que la table a coté de moi, qui avait commandé la même chose, avait été servis avec quelque chose de plus copieux. J'avais 3 morceaux de bœuf bourguignon qui se battait dans mone assiète et quelques frites, alors que l’autre table a eu au moins 5 morceaux de bœuf bourguignon, une bonne portion de frite et une garniture de salade pour le même plat/menu. Pas dans me habitudes d'allez piquer une mouche mais quand même, allez savoir pourquoi ?…hmm, peut-être c’est mon accent Anglais. Le service et la qualité a vraiment baisser et cela est aussi confirmer par ma famille et des amis qui habite localement et qui fréquentais ce restaurant précédemment. Je ne crois pas que j’y...
