I worked as a chef in a restaurant for 5 years...so i know how to treat people and how not to. So lets be honest aboit how it was and not rate with 1 star:
Plus is: just 4 main dishes on the menu is a sign for quality. And burrata was actually good.
Minus: We ordered steak (noix aka sirloin) twice and asked for Medium. Every restaurant should know what Medium means - or, if unsure, make sure that guest and cook speak about the same.
Meat came, beyond well done and bad quality. After letting the service know, the owner came and told, Medium would be different in france...ah, so you know we are not french, but would not care? First they did not want to change it.
After a while we would get 2 non-burned steaks. Meat quality on mine was ok, but for sure not good. Friend could not eat hers because of bad meat quality.
When we asked the owner, who previously was ok to speak english, he started to pretend he would not speak english...
Then he would not talk to us anymore but happily charged 18 euro for a little bit of vegetables (which are not on the menu, but apparently good to make some money with of you forgot vegan offer and want to ripp of some tourists).
Oh and he would refer to his 5 star rating on google a lot. Have you seen how many people rated only his place?...

Such a wonderful experience with my wife a young son for an early supper; the husband and wife duo make you feel so welcome and even accommodated their delicious gnocchi for our son, whilst we had excellent fresh local clams and THE BEST crispy chicken Caesar Salad in the world. Homemade puddings topped off a perfect evening at this lovely little restaurant in a charming part of town. As the menu changes weekly for the best ingredients, we’ll certainly be back! Thank you again Gypsy...
