Osso Buco with tagliatelle was good; however, the caponata — rather bad (overly fried, sour and oily), so I didn’t even eat it. They didn’t care, and kept it on the bill. The service was very slow with less than half the tables occupied (15 mins to get the menu!, 15 more to get the dishes), and not particularly friendly. Atmosphere is OK: it’s next to a roundabout, so rather noisy on the terrace.

Il y a des gents qui ne peuvent pas manger au restaurant, parce qu’ils ont une intolérance alimentaire. Autant pire s’il s’agit d’une intolérance qui réduit la gamme des ingrédients d’un repas à un minimum déplorable ! Ne pas pouvoir aller au restaurant pendant des vacances à la Cote d’Azur – quelle misère !! MAIS : nous avons trouvé une solution à Fréjus: À TAVOLA CON L’ITALIA Nous sommes y allez quelques jours avant avec la liste déplorablement courte des aliments tolérés par un membre de notre famille passent ses vacances chez nous. Non seulement s’était le seule restaurant acceptant ce défi. Nous étions comblés du repas qu’on nous a préparé de ces quelques aliments, c’était la haute gamme de cuisine !! 5 étoiles ne suffiraient pas pour décrire combien nos palais étaient gâtés ! Notre fils n’a pas mangé si bien pendant les dernières 10 années ! Il s’agit d’un restaurant, où non seulement on mange super bien, on est aussi attentivement servi, et on est reçu d’une façon très, très chaleureuse et familiale. Ne faut pas oublier la vue sur les montagnes quand on mange dehors…

Alors que nous avions réservé à 12h30, nous sommes arrivés avec 3/4 d'heure de retard et même si nous avions prévenu de ce contretemps, la restauratrice nous à accueilli avec un large sourire en nous souhaitant la bienvenue. C'est assez rare pour être signalé et comme le repas nous a enchanté par la qualité des plats proposés : c'est un sans faute. La cuisine italienne faite maison en famille (italienne). Je conseille vivement les noix de Saint Jacques et taglionni et pour le désert une spécialité sicilienne : le canollo con frutta candita : absolument délicieux ! Si vous avez l'occasion de passer à Fréjus, n'hésitez pas : c'est d'autant plus une bonne adresse qu'un grand parking est situé juste en contrebas du restaurant.

We have been waved away from this restaurant tonight in a rather discriminatory manner. After we waited several minutes to see if a table was free the lady continued her work without greeting us. After she finally found time to help us, looking at us and answerded with "yes?" in a antisocial way. They heard we were tourists and were told everything was reserved. No one was sitting inside and a few tables outside which were occupied. Clearly the tourist is not wanted at this restaurant. To all non french people, I would suggest stay away from...

We went here just at the start of lunch. We were the only ones in the restuarant at the time. (It soon changed). The lovely lady was very attentive and suffered through our very new French.
