I was reading other reviews which all stated 5 stars accompanied by beautiful pictures and I am wondering whether we were in the same place. Honestly, apart from the beautiful terrace and very polite but slow service nothing about the food was good, it was TERRIBLE. The Korean steak which was cold and extremely chewy that I had to spit out the meat, or the kale salad that was dressed with just oil and when I asked the waiter what exactly was the dressing supposed to be he shrugged his should and said "I don't know, never had it, and what do you want me to do about it?", to the raw fish starter which left a distinct fishy aftertaste that I am sure was not meant to be. I showed the non-digested piece of meat to the waiter and he apologised and suggested that I should have had a different meat (I am not making this up) and then said he will give us free desserts to compensate for the bad experience and we said "no, thanks". He then offered my wife a G&T, and we thanked him for the gesture. When the bill eventually came, they still charged us for the "not-to-be-ordered-steak". When I enquired as to why, he said "but I gave you a free G&T". He eventually removed the item from the bill but charged us for the compensatory G&T. Do go for the terrace but not for the food. Any mediocre restaurant in London will be miles ahead of this place. Sorry, but not good enough for price...

Enjoyed it last September when we were one of three tables seated. This year - was much busier and down went the service - please don’t offer an appetizer menu if you are going to bring it to my table 40 minutes later right along with my steak dinner - do you really think I want the raw yellowtail sushimi and salad served right along with my steak and potatoes? It’s not even a cooked appetizer - if you are going to not bring it at the right time - maybe you should first come back to my table and apologize for the delay and ask us if we still want the appetizers or shall we skip them and go right to the meal - instead I am left to either be the rude customer and say something or just accept it - leave them barely eaten - pay the bill and never come back again - which is of course what we did - if you can’t handle the crowd - don’t take the reservation - and also while you are at it - if the bottle of wine I ask for is not available - please don’t suggest the one that is $50 more and make me feel uncomfortable - suggest one around the same price along with the more expensive one - tell me they are both lovely and I will make my own choice - you charge plenty for everything and that’s fine when it’s done right - you shouldn’t need...

Service was very friendly and our server even made a wasp/mosquito deterrent burning coffee grinds to keep them from bothering us. All of the dishes we had were great. The starter little sandwiches we had were really nice. The steak had a great Flavour, not sure it’s the best in the world I’ve ever had but it was very nice. The side dishes were great too. Our server did disappear for a long time after he brought us the dessert menus and we would’ve liked to have tried the soufflé but the time was so long when he came back to take the order plus the time to make soufflé and we had small kids that needed to go to bed so we couldn’t stay any longer.

Dès mon arrivée, l’hôtesse et le directeur m’ont accueilli et installé à table. J'ai été conquis par l'atmosphère sereine et le cadre idyllique. Côté cuisine, c'est une belle découverte culinaire. Les plats sont savoureux, préparés avec des ingrédients de qualité et un soin du détail remarquable. Chaque bouchée est une explosion de saveurs. Nous avons commandé un Tomahawk, la pièce a été découpée devant nous et on nous a expliqué les différents aspects de cette pièce. La carte est variée, offrant des choix pour tous les goûts, avec une prédilection pour les viandes de qualité exceptionnelle. Mais ce qui distingue vraiment le Beefbar, c'est son service irréprochable. L'équipe est attentionnée, professionnelle et chaleureuse, comme on en trouve rarement ailleurs. Du début à la fin, j'ai été traité avec une attention délicate qui a rendu mon repas encore plus agréable. Pour moi, il n'y a tout simplement pas d'équivalent à Saint-Tropez. Le Beefbar a su allier ambiance, gastronomie et service de manière magistrale. C'est une adresse que je recommande sans hésitation, que vous soyez de passage ou résident de la région. Une expérience à vivre absolument !
