Great place for a cocktail and ambience, both can not be faulted. But do avoid at all costs ordering their 52 euro seafood pasta. By far the biggest rip off for plain bland food I've ever been a part of. When I saw the price tag I knew right away I would paying over the odds for whatever I was given. I at least thought it would taste nice. How wrong I was. There was no taste what so ever. Half a meagre lobster badly cooked not very juicy and with no flavour bunged on the top of a seriously boring pasta with sauce that would have massively benefited from the slightest introduction to some salt and pepper. It is a shame that this dish could be so badly made.
The gazpacho was okay I would say the overuse of onions in anything tomato with no meat ends up overpowering the tomato and leaving you with a enslaught of onion spoon after spoon. But that is opinion and some may like their gazpacho over oniony.
With a change of chef or at least sending him to basic cookery school could make this restaraunt an absolute wonder. Waiters and bartenders are sublime. Couldn't have had a more pleasant experience with them. Cocktails are good no change needed there.
I hope their is change next time in the south of France.

Read moreWe have been coming to Couleurs Jardins several times a year for the last 16 years, It’s a must at every holiday. Unfortunately we were very disappointed this time - the food and the setting are still great, but the service and bad smell permeating from the kitchen made it an unpleasant experience- I totally understand that summer staff are often young and students, but they need to learn the basics: don’t bump into the clients chair every time you walk past, serve the wine and water instead of leaving the clients to do it themselves (walked by table several times when wine and water glasses were empty and didn’t refill even when saw us refilling ourselves, didn’t ask if we wanted more wine / water when bottle empty), friendly welcome, being able to resolve a table that moves every time we eat rather than shrugging shoulders and saying I ll go ask someone…. We were also disappointed in the overall experience - dirty, bent menus, had to wait 15 minutes for the bill and in the end go to the bar (the restaurant was empty, it was 23h and end of the 2nd service). We will be back because we love this place but hope that management will take the time to train and observe their staff and the details… it’s the details that make the...
Read moreBuilt on the beach side, made of wood planks with an old giant tree that runs through the middle of this restaurant is the beautiful Couleurs Jardin restaurant. The decorations with birds hanging, straw hats and a sit around fire pit waiting lounge is warm and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and attentive, the ingredients used in this restaurant are delicious and cooked to perfection, we had surf and turf 2 nights in a row, I would also recommend the ceviche, Mussels and definitely a souffle for each person. All the dishes come garnished with beautiful vegetables and or sides. The rice is red and super healthy if that is your thing, the carrot 🥕 and spinach is delicious, bread is amazing, also as an accompliment to our dishes was an aubergine side dish, baby potatoes and seasonal salad. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for dinner because of the luvly staff, delicious food and amazing vew of the sea. If you go down the stairs you will be on...
