La Gaudina — Restaurant in Draguignan

Great location and exquisite dining! Nothing negative to say about the food, it was absolutely fantastic. There was only one thing that made me feel uncomfortable: The waiter was absolutely unfriendly and presented a full range of totally inappropriate manners.

1. He started an unnecessary discussion, when it was clearly his mistake that he forgot to bring the correct food. Instead of bringing the right food (no problem, that can happen) he started to put the blame on my friend.
2. He brought us bread that was inedible, even though other guests received fresh bread (it was not just toasty, it was days old).
3. He started to clear the table even though my friend was still eating which is the most disrespectful thing you can do in my view, he even started to ask for desert and took the plate she was still eating on.

Unfortunately the service is inseparably connected to the whole experience, which is why i have to give this excellent restaurant such a bad rating even though the food and location are phenomenal and the rest of the staff seemed to be pretty friendly and...

We came for a day at the beach. Customer service very bad , if you are not french you are not treated well. Secondly, at 15 pm we came at their restaurant to have lunch, first, the lady said the kitchen is closed until 7pm, and then 5 mins later a gentlemen said we can go at the table , they found out they have a chef actually …. We order some food,4 portions of fries, they only brought 2 portions saying at the end they brought 4 portions…. I will attach the picture of fries to see what they serve to their customers, burned fries in oil. I don’t think they have changed the oil since the season started…. Lovely...

Very nice place, a gem near the port of St. Maxime. Very nice ambiance and all details are perfect done. The waiters are very friendly but what was really surprising was the food. The food was outstanding! We had as appetizers local vegetables stuffed with meat and a very nice fresh tomatosaus. My wife had the perfect Caeser salad, chicken was crispy outside and soft & tender inside. The children were very happy with their nice peace fresh white fish. The spaghetti with fresh tomatosaus, octopus and gamba’s was really really good. Gamba’s were baked to perfection, no dry shrimps at this place. Looking foreward...
