Not only was the food spectacular but the overall experience was so quintessentially French - a husband and wife duo working together to run a gorgeous restaurant. Loved every minute. This restaurant not only fed our stomach bu also fed our high expectations. The restaurant owners were very sympathetic, the food tastes great and healthy. You can feel the passion in it’s preparation and combination, also the ambiance is nice and homey feels like you are invited at a French chef’s home.

Nous avons eu la chance de déjeuner dans ce vraiment délicieux restaurant, qui ressemble à une petite maison de Fayence, le 4 de janvier, où la gentille Nathalie et le très sympa Jean Louis, nous ont accueilli de façon très agréable. Ici nous avons goûté, dans l'ordre: des pâtes au sauce tomates, avec des boulettes de veau (les pâtes étaient parfaitement "al dente", comme on dit en Italie); le burger du 8; un petit gâteau avec confiture d'abricots faite maison; 2 cafés. L'ambiance était vraiment charmante et tranquille. La cuisine très soignée et gourmande. Les prix tout à fait raisonnables (nous avons payé plus ou moins 41 €). En plus l'amabilité de Nathalie et la sympathie de Jean Louis ont étés un ingrédient ultérieur pour rendre inoubliable ce déjeuner à Fayence. Si nous passerons encore par Fayence, nous reviendrons bien sûr chez "Le 8"!

Don't let the size discourage you - this is a true gem! Small family owned business and the quality is super. Didn't know what to expect but was blown away. Even my Cesar Salat was amazing as was there take on a burger. Indian spices mixed with french cooking skills - prepare to...
