Le Jardin Impérial — Restaurant in Draguignan

Cool restaurant with koi under your feet as you walk in the restaurant. We ordered the appetizer sampler and the waiter very smartly recommended we order something light for our entrees. The appetizer had generous servings of salad, spring rolls, wontons, shrimp and others. Entrees were frog legs with garlic, Cantonese fried rice, salt and pepper seafood and a bottle of the house wine. Everything was fresh and flavorful; the service was attentive without being obtrusive. Only downside was that we sat against the wall and, by the time we were through with our dinner, the place was packed and we had a hard time making our way through the other tables. Taste is good but service is not good and staff is arrogant.

One of our colleague asked to remove mushrooms for him so they removed for all except him. :P.

I ordered noodles which had prawns and mushrooms they served without mushrooms. When I asked servent he arrogantly said there is no mushrooms in that dish. I showed him menu where it was clearly mentioned still he just left arrogantly.

We were excited to explore the area around our AirBnB. The last place we thought we’d find ourselves was a Vietnamese restaurant in France.

Wow… we are so happy we chose this. This was one of the best dinners we have had on our vacation. The food selection is great. The drink selection is mediocre, but you’ll be so preoccupied with the taste of your dinner that you will hardly notice.
