The first night the food was nice – we had the classic moules and tartare, both good. The second night, unfortunately, was a very different experience. We received the wrong moules at first (Thai instead of regular), which can happen and was no problem. But the linguine with tuna we ordered to share with the moules and tartare, together with our son, was really disappointing – I tasted it right away (because the kids were chaotic), and the pasta wasn’t fresh (which we can understand). More importantly, the sauce was heavy and creamy instead of light and fresh. It honestly was probably the worst pasta I’ve ever had.

When I tried to explain this to the waiter, he seemed frustrated and simply said, “normally people like it.” I tried to clarify what exactly I didn’t like about the dish, but he didn’t seem to understand or want to understand. He walked over to his boss to mention it, I think, but after that we weren’t looked after anymore. Later, when paying the bill, we raised it again and only received a short “sorry.” We still had to pay for the full dish, even though we sent it back and didn’t eat it. That felt like poor service and unfriendly treatment.

This really didn’t feel right towards us as customers – especially when paying more than €100 for a simple dinner. It would be great if the team could be more open and attentive to feedback. Great location right on the beach. But all spoilt by the attitude of the staff which can only mean that's how management / owners run this place! We got in at just after 10pm and were rushed throughout. Food came in cold so heaven knows how the kitchen communicates with the servers for somewhere that wants everyone to leave by 11pm when they close! There are several choices right next door with the same beach ambience that deserve...

Quelle déception ! Varoise habituée de cette plage depuis des années, nous l’avons vu évoluer au fil des années et finalement nous n’y mettrons plus les pieds. Même si nous avons très bien mangé, les tarifs augmentent et la quantité diminue.. sans parler des 3 cacahuètes que nous avons dû réclamer et partager à 6 pour accompagner notre apéritif et patienter 50 minutes avant d’être servi… sans parler de l’assiette de fruits rouges à 10€ qui ressemble plus à une petite coupelle et ne réclamez pas de sucre vous aurez le droit à une réflexion « bon diabète », sans parler de la pavlova de fruits rouges à 10€ aussi, servie sans fruits rouges, après avoir réclamer nos fruits, le serveur nous a quand même avoué que la personne qui a préparé notre dessert avait été dérangé par le téléphone et donc oublié nos fruits !!! Quant à la plage privée, 3 rangées de transats ont été rajoutés depuis l’année dernière, résultat si vous êtes à la première rangée vous vous sentirez mélangés au reste des touristes de la plage qui eux ne payent rien, nous 20€ par transat! Et ne vous fiez pas aux photos, les transats sont si rapprochés les uns des autres qu’on ne peut plus passer. Business is business certes mais on perd en qualité de service et ce d’année en année.
