Loved the experience at this 19-century mansion/hotel/restaurant! You can stay as a guest in the hotel or simply do a walk-in. As soon as you enter, you are engulfed in the atmosphere of antiquity and opulence, while at the same time feeling the warm welcome of the hosts. The house is full of antique objects (chess boards, etc), old wine bottles and art books. The best part is the view: the house has an incredible view of the sea and red rocks. A 3-course menu is roughly 30€. There is also an option to spend the day by the pool and rent a sunbed. It's 20€ per person and includes the possibility to take the paddle board out into the sea for an unlimited amount of time. Overall, whether you choose to stay overnight, for the day or just pop in for lunch, you will have a relaxing moment away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby cities, Cannes and San Raphael. Highly recommended for a cozy getaway in nature while enjoying the comfort of the maison, tasty food and warm welcome of the...
Read moreShort:||Secluded but rather odd place wedged between the road and the sea. Parking available.||||Long:||A small scale hotel climbing on a small patch of rock between the sea and the road. Rooms are nice but have hint of mold. The "lobby" and restaurant has the atmosphere of coming to a large home. It is nice. The place is a bit odd and isolated. Really off the beaten track. But you have the coastal road whizzing by just a few meters from the pool area. A bit disturbing. They have a super nice view over the Mediterranean though, and sometimes you can spot the dolphins as they jump 1 km out at sea. There are stairs going down to the sea, but there seems to be a lot of medusas at times, so I recommend just enjoying the view from the pool. There is a parking...
Read moreIf you are looking for a small family run place with a breathtaking view to relax, this is the right place. There are 9 rooms, all with a wonderful seaview. The hosts are a very nice couple. The menu and wine selection is limited, but all we tried was very tasteful and delicious - and again you could not sit a better place, the view is just great. The pool and garden is well maintained, rooms are very clean. The two small beaches belonging to the hotel are nature beaches with stones and sea weed in the sand, so I would recommend bathing shoes. Access to one of them is easy, to the other one a little more tricky, but it is absolutely wonderful to swim in the sea.||We have already recommended this little gem to several friends - and we will...
