Wasn't sure about it when we walked in as the waitress was a bit rude when asked if we can sit in the boot next to each other, she said no because she needed the table ready for tomorrow, that was awkward!! But after all, you realise that she's nice and professional after that cold first interaction. The food was really good, my chicken was a bit dry but because it was the chicken breast, the sides were really tasty, carrots, parsnips and potatoes. My husband was happy with his cheese and ham, very good idea the brie with the truffle by the way. Big wine selection, specially the locals one. The chef came around to check if everything was OK with our food. We finished this lovely experience with a succulent dessert. The other waiter was just lovely. Overall, really good experience, certainly coming back when I next visit Draguignan, hopefully soon....

First of all: the food is fine and the quality is very good. We had the filet and the duck (as menu).
But… the service was a catastrophe. The server „Axel F.“ as per our bill was extremely rude and unprofessional. He messed up our main dish order and tried to frame us. Secondly they messed up our side dishes as well and at least the other waiter was nicely clarifying and apologizing.
During the meal Axel F. made several sarcastic and provoking comments. After asking for confirmation that we won’t be charged on the wrong side dishes, he „whispered“ to his colleague: „these people are starting a war with us“, in French.

We ordered escargot and the truffle mushroom pizza for starter. Both were delicious. For main we ordered the special lobster as recommended by the server and the duck. Again both meals were fantastic and well cooked. The duck had good flavour and was cooked to perfection. The lobster was fresh and the pasta that came with it was refreshing.
