Fantastic restaurant, that serves meals made with fresh ingredients of the day. From my understanding, the menu changes based on what good foods the chef finds on the day.
You can tell this restaurant is a labor of love. The food is delicious, elegant, and filling if you get a two or three course meal. We were served vegetable soup by default, then had a choice of appetizer, main, and dessert. Though the choices may change day to day, I’m sure whatever the chef makes is always delicious, based on my experience!
The server was a lovely woman, with a relaxed demeanor. I enjoyed interacting with her, and telling her how much I enjoyed the food.
We were eating outside, and sometimes a local cat or family would walk by, giving the meal a real slice-of-life pace.
The main I had was delicious, a cut of steak cooked to rare, just as I requested.

You can't put a name on the atmosphere. In a sort of semi basement with a vintage look, you will be seated on chairs with funny cushions and drink in Disney glasses. However, the plates are very classy and the food is well presented.
Your hostess is really welcoming and will contribute to a lovely meal. You can feel the passion she puts in her work and how proud she is to have the best restaurant in Gourdon. Not for her own satisfaction but because the...

The woman actually laughed at us telling us that at that time in France you can only eat crepes. She made fun of us to her friends across the street while we were walking away. We understood everything she said in French. Not nice! We walked up to another restaurant with amazing views and had a great lunch at 4 pm. That woman could have simply told us that she served lunch until 2 instead of embarrassing us in public. She ultimately made a FOOL out of herself....
