Myself and my partner were booked to stay here for two nights in August 2020.||||Having requested a double, quiet room we were checked in to a twin noisy and untidy room above a very busy kitchen. Long blonde hairs were found all over the bed covers and there was limescale and mould in the shower room.||||There was constant noise from the kitchen until after 2am including a round-the-clock-industrial extractor fan, loud banging of cooking utensils, shouting and moving furniture that continued all through the night. This was compounded by the total lack of any sound proofing which meant that we could hear even the tiniest noise from the guests next door. ||||The manager, who stated that she could speak English but refused to do so, was dismissive and obnoxious in her response to us raising our concerns about the constant noise. ||||It was only after booking.com got involved that she agreed to let us check out early and pay only for the first night during which we got absolutely zero sleep. She also claimed that the noise would stop around 10 pm when in fact it continued through the night, and told us that we were the first people ever to complain about noise when there are dozens of former guests complaining about severe noise on booking.com. ||||The village of Cabris is very pretty and the location of the property is great. Read moreWe staid there for one night and chose this location because of the good reviews on booking.com. We had the suite which occupy the whole upper floor. We were told it was the employees dorm before they renovated it last year. The Inn itself is a protected cultural site. The room is very spacious. Everything's functional. The only drawbacks were that there were no way to block the light from the small windows, the roll-up curtain were too thin. We had diner there and we enjoyed it very much. There's only a full menu to order, you can't jsut order one dish so if you just go for a small bite, might not be the place for you. We ordered Fish and foie gras at starter and lamb and fish at main dish. The fishes were delicious but we were less fond of the meat. Desserts were very good. Our daughter finished her plate of chicken and pasta and she's usually a picky one. The cocktails (St Barthelemy) were delicious. Breakfast on the terrace was very good. Best of all was the service. People are so warm and friendly. The place is calm and you have an amazing view. The little village has its charm. A real nice place worth the detour to sleep over if you are in the region. Will...
