Shiva — Restaurant in Grasse

My wife and I stayed in Le Rouret on holiday, and decided we needed a change from the local cuisine. On the way back from a day trip, we phoned for a takeaway, to collect on our way home. Without seeing a menu, we managed to place an order, and 30 minutes later it was ready for collection. The staff were fantastic, and gave us two free Cobra beers. Having read the reviews on Trip Advisor, we had high hopes, and we weren't disappointed. Both curries were excellent - not swimming in sauce like a lot of UK curries - and tasty, without being overly hot. The garlic naan and samosas were also pretty good. Moved into the area recently. Ordered dinner for two (25EUR). Sorely disappointing. Basically a sampler platter that in many cases would be a dinner for one. They took a quarter chicken leg 'tandoori' and cut it in two to give '2 pieces'. Samosa was soggy on the bottom. Service was grumpy. Won't go back there and would not recommend it. Basically just reheated onion fritters, samosas and the like, probably taken from the freezer. Look to be some places in Grasse that are...

Tout d'abord menu vraiment trop cher... Le 1er est à 23. 5 avec un supplément de 2 euros si on veut un NaN au fromage..... Ensuite c est 30 euros. Je voulais manger des crevettes donc menu à 30 euros je me dis c est peut cher mais peut être que ça vaut le coup... Résultat vraiment déçue. Entrée correct sa moussa de légumes plat crevette avec de la banane bon... riz bon bah c est du riz...déjà on se dit que pour un menu à 30 euros on en a pas pour notre argent mais alors le Dessert catastrophique. Nous avons pris semoule à l'amande une honte. On nous a servi un bout de gâteau à l amande tout sec sur le dessus et tout moite en dessous... Avec un goût immonde de frigo.. Produit avarie.. On le signale on nous répond c'est normal que goût de frigo il était dans le frigo... Oui ça c est sur et depuis un moment a mon avis. Pas de décoration dans le restau ce qui aurait pu être compensé par un super repas. Mais la franchement nous avons regretté cadre bof service très long entre les plats et desserts périmé...
