The best restaurant you can find in Alsace. The owners (Jacqueline and Marc) very friendly and attent, the service really familiar, experienced and professional, the kitchen chef and team super excellent, and the variety and daily suggestions are very good. The quality and the atmosphere is awesome and all of them speak french, german, Alsacien (Elsassisch) and understand english too. I recommend this restaurant if you love beef, fish, desserts, everything is home made and they change the decoration of the restaurant with every season or festivity. Sehr gutes ländliches Lokal. Tres bien i merci vielmals.... Sehr leckeres Essen! Gute Huasmanskost in Frankreich. Wir essen oft in Paris und Metz, aber so herzlich wie hier wird man nicht begrüßt. Der Chef de Bar kommt noch bei jedem Gast raus und sagt "Bon Jour" jedem Gast persönlich, mit Handschlag. excellent ...... Also Service 10 Punke. L´Alsace mon amour :-) Unser Elsass lieben wir... Tolle Menschen, tolles Essen und tolle Laandschaft. Leider immer wieder viel Stau auf der Rheinbrücke, wäre mal Zeit etwas groesser zu bauen: Bitte mit EU Euro Geldern was machen und nicht so viel in Afrika investieren.... Wir kommen wieder:

Nun zum Essen:

Gänseleber war OK, aber kenne ich deutlich besser aus der Ukraine. Gänseleber in Polen ist der Hammer, wird frisch und warm serviert. Hier im Elsass war es kalt und in viel Gelee?? Warum so viel Gelee keine Ahnung. Sorry ich komme de Alamegne.... Das hier war mir einfach zu süss :-) Das Baguette haben wir genossen, mit dem Comtee 56 Monate gereift :-) So einen geilen Käse bekommt man njur in Frankreich. der gruyere Fromage. LECKER!!!! Das Brot war lecker.

Die Muscheln waren durchschnittlich. Sehr viel Knobie, mit dem getosteten Brot war es OK. Muscheln kenne ich in unserem Dorf bei Mainz besser.In unserer WEinstube im Dorf schemcken die mir besser. Die werden mit Weißwein gebraten und sind viel grösser.

Der Salat hat mich umgehauen, so ein gutes Dressing habe ich noch nicht gegessen!!! Extrem GUT! Sahne und Essig?!?!? Es war der hammer. Das Rezept hätte ich gerne. Es war sooooooo gut:-) Mercie Vielmals.

Die Frösche in Knobi und panniert: Geil. Super gut, aber ich könnte davon 3 Teller essen. War mir zu wenig. hatte danach noch hunger.

Das leckere Bier 1664 vom Fass ist süffig, hatte davon mehrere.... Kenne die PRomille Grenze in FRankreich nicht, aber aber es hat ges hmeckt.

Always great, but always a wait. They do not take reservations. This is the only reason the Auberge a l'Agneau does not get 5 plus stars from me. In all honesty, the food is well worth the wait. Excellent cuisine, amazing staff. The restaurant is done in the traditional Alsace décor creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. My favorite place to eat in all of the Alsace. If you like steak tartar, it doesn't get any better. Prepared at your table by the owner. There are no bad selections on the menu. The house Riesling is...
