Food is quite good but if you want to book there you encounter arrogance mixed with french organisation. They never pick up the phone. Understandable because they may be busy. But then the answering machine never takes messages. So there is no way you can effectively make a reservation. If you then send an email, you may get eventually (!) an email a few days later “sorry we are booked”. Already twice we showed up there without a reservation ..and they told me they have no place. When I asked the owner why he never picks up the phone or how to effectively book he replied “don’t you see we are busy”. So I don’t bother to visit them any more, but go straight to the “Agneau” or the “Cerf” nearby. My choice of lodging when visiting this area of the Alsace. Rooms are typical for the area and could use a little updating and attention but still very accommodating. Restaurant offers a nice dinner menu of well prepared entrees of the region and staff is very friendly. Breakfast is served for hotel guests and is very nice with eggs to order and fresh breads and pastries. Plenty of parking and an outside dining venue, weather permitting. There is no staff on the premises in the afternoon so you will not be able to check in and the restaurant is closed. ...

J y ai mangé vendredi soir ont n a pris brasserade aux 3viandes avec frites et salade et une bonne bouteille de vin a 56eur l addition pour 150eur à 2personnes rien n a dire service impeccable et le repas très bon belle soirée côté restaurant rien n a dire par contre pour clôre cette soirée j' ai eu la mauvaise idée de vouloir boire un dernier verre sur la terrasse donc je vais au bar et je demande une despe et un expresso et une dame au bar un peu âgée ou proche de la retraite me dit d un ton agressif nous ont n a pas ça chez nous despe donc je lui demande une 1664 a la pression encore d un ton agressif le fût est vide finalement je prend un verre de vendange tardive donc bonne soirée mais gâché par l agressivité de cette personne qui je pense devrais ce remettre en cause par rapport de comme ont parle aux clients donc un conseil le restaurant je recommande mais le bar a évité surtout en fin de soirée quand la dame...
