Brasserie le Globe — Restaurant in Issoire

Nice restaurant, probably one of the nicest in Issoire, witch is not to difficult to achieve by the drab looks of most of the other ones we saw. The Michelin guide rates Issoire as a beautiful place that deserves a visit, probably not in august.

But the reataurant looks nice, was full of people and they were having a good time. Strickt covid rules, chapeau for that. The menu is OK, bistro and local specialities. Entrecote was excellent, but the seafood salade left some room for improvement. Cold tempura fried shrimps, not the best quality smoked salmon, and the salad could have been washed. We planned to eat at a Comptoir but they did not have a table. So we walked and came across Brasserie le Globe. We were seated immediately and were served by Marie. She had little English and we have little French. Marie was super welcoming and super helpful and made our experience excellent. We both had the steak which was also excellent.
