Le Bistrot Gourmand in Mondendre quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. Our mornings started with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, providing the perfect beginning to our day. The food was another delight. We had the pleasure of trying the steak one afternoon, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. On another occasion, we indulged in the fish and chips, which was equally satisfying. Both dishes were prepared with care and presented beautifully.

What made our dining experience even more enjoyable was the friendly and attentive staff. They genuinely appreciated our efforts to speak French, and their proficiency in English ensured smooth communication. They created a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home.

Prices at Le Bistrot Gourmand were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. It is rare to find such a combination of delicious cuisine, excellent service, and fair pricing.

Le plat très fade et froid. Trop chère pour la qualité du repas. 40 minutes d’attente avec une quinzaine de personnes dans l’établissement. Dès notre arrivée on a pu voir qu’il ne restait que 4 personnes. Des pâtes avec du beurre encore dans l’assiette. J’attends votre retour chose que vous n’avez pas su faire quand je vous ai fais la remarque. Client du lundi 4 août 2023 en espérant que ce message ne sera pas signalé comme le premier.

Ne pouvant répondre à votre commentaire je vous écris ici. Déjà apprenez à lire j’ai bien précisé lundi au lieu de samedi. J’ai bien compté la terrasse ne vous inquiétez pas. Et peut importe le restaurant où on va la qualité et la rapidité doit être un point important, j’ai déjà mangé dans des restaurants comme les vôtre et heureusement je n’ai pas attendu aussi longtemps, il faut arrêter de ce chercher des excuses. Si vous n’acceptez pas la critique arrêtez votre métier. En tout cas votre repas et au même niveau que votre amabilité...

Excellent omelette with chips and a green salad. Pleasant and helpful staff. Good ambience. Horrid paintings but I just sat looking the other way. Good lunch stop.
