This was an extremely mediocre experience all round, and overpriced. At well over 200 euros for two people you would think it might be a memorable meal. Sadly, I would rather forget it. The risotto came with pasta (!) instead of rice, the other dishes were lack lustre and frankly just boring, presentation was unimaginative (everything lined up in strips on the plate, and that applied to all the dishes), the matronly manageress made us feel looked down upon, the two serving girls were pleasant but one had no training at all and the other was awkward and shy. Not their fault, but at the price I expected something a little better. The most memorable point of the meal was the view through to the kitchen and seeing the chef munching on the the parsley before adding it to my dish. This happened twice. Perhaps not absolutely unhealthy but not something I wanted to witness. I don't mind paying over 200 euros for a good meal but I would rather have gone to a less pretentious restaurant with food that had good flavour and an attractive interior instead of a gloomy atmosphere where no one spoke above a whisper. Pour les personnes allergiques, manger ici est extrêmement dangereux. Mon allergie au poisson, aux crustacés et aux cacahuètes a été signalée à la réservation.

A mon arrivée, j'ai explicitement signalé cela à la serveuse (la femme du cuisinier) Nous sommes passés ensemble par le menu et nous avons sélectionné les plats que je peux manger, elle a promis de vérifier cela avec son mari.

L’entree consistait en pois chiches dans un charlatan blanc indéfinissable et insipide. Le pire, cependant, était qu'il y avait des tranches de saumon qui n'étaient pas mentionnées sur le menu. La serveuse a semblé sérieusement offensée par ma plainte sans s'excuser pour sa gaffe.

La viande avec le plat était trop cuite, le dessert n'était pas frais mais provenait d'une canette.

For people with a allergy, eating here is extremely dangerous. My allergy to fish, crustaceans and peanuts was reported at the reservation.

Upon arrival, I explicitly reported this again to the waitress (the wife of the cook) We went through the menu and selected the dishes that I can eat, she promised to verify this with her husband. The starter consisted of chickpeas in an indefinable and tasteless white quack. The worst however, was that she presented some slices of salmon on this dish which were not mentioned on the menu. The waitress was seriously offended by my complaint without apologizing for her life-threatening blunder. The meat with the main course was overcooked, the dessert was not fresh but came from a can. If you want to play with your life, want to be treated like a dog and like food from a soup kitchen you should definitely eat here!

Voor mensen met een voedselallergie is hier eten levensgevaarlijk. Bij de telefonische reservering is mijn voedselallergie voor vis, schelp -en schaaldieren en pinda’s gemeld. Bij aankomst is de serveerster (de vrouw van de kok) dit opnieuw uitdrukkelijk gemeld. Vervolgens is met haar het menu doorgenomen en zijn de gerechten geselecteerd die ik wel kan eten, ze heeft beloofd dit te verifieren bij haar man. Het voorgerecht bestond uit kikkererwten in een ondefinieerbare en smakeloze witte kwak. Het ergste echter was dat hierop enkele plakken zalm lagen die overigens niet op het menu vermeld stonden. De serveerster was ernstig beledigd door mijn klacht, zonder zich te excuseren voor haar voor mij levensgevaarlijke blunder. Het vlees bij het hoofdgerecht was veel te lang gebakken, het dessert was niet vers maar kwam uit blik. Really brilliant dinner - would definitely visit again if in the area. We were staying 15 minutes away for a wedding the following day and booked for dinner at 7pm. The menu (although slightly confusing for English speakers) is very varied and there are plenty of options including a very good set menu option. We went off menu and had three delicious courses. The staff were very helpful including the head waiter who is very knowledgeable about wines and was very helpful with translations we couldn't manage.
