Tucked away in a picturesque location, LA TERRASSE is a hidden gem that delivers a dining experience to remember. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted by an ambiance that perfectly complements the stunning views surrounding the restaurant. Whether you’re there for a sunset dinner or a leisurely lunch, the panoramic vistas add a magical touch to the entire experience. The menu, though concise, packs a punch. Every dish is thoughtfully curated, ensuring that each bite bursts with flavor. Despite its small size, the menu doesn’t compromise on variety, offering something for everyone while maintaining a focus on quality over quantity. Each dish feels like a carefully crafted masterpiece, designed to delight the palate. What truly elevates LA TERRASSE, however, is the impeccable service. The staff is not only friendly and welcoming but also knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. They enhance the dining experience, making you feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer. To top it off, the restaurant is well-priced, offering great value for the quality and experience it provides. LA TERRASSE is more than just a place to eat; it’s a destination for those who appreciate great food, breathtaking views, and exceptional service. Highly recommended!

Luckily we could afford to have lunch here; and it’s the only waterside restaurant we could find today, in June. The waitresses helped us with the menu and wines, but the food presentation and type was inspiring. So pretty and tasty. Our table outside overlooked the medieval bridge across the Sarthe and it was a cool place to be. Very good value at around €21 pp for three courses plus wine.

We arrived by train and checked in hotel around 6:30 pm. Look for place to have dinner and found most are closed. In fact, they are open only from 7 pm. Called and made reservation at this one. Turned out we had the last table as many walk-in have been turned away. Sitting at the patio was by the river was very enjoyable. The food were excellent in taste and presentation. Lot of local ingredients. The fish was very fresh and the local pig was very well prepared, with pull pork style meat attached to a very thin and crispy skin. The deserts were all made inhouse with fruits and wine. Make sure you...
