Saint Maurice Pizza — Restaurant in La Rochelle

After an amazing weekend in La Rochelle and Il de Ré we found ourselves stranded without a way to reach the airport. We passed this lovely pizzeria and decided to stop and ask to use the phone to call a taxi. It was so cozy and welcoming, and the staff was so kind, that while we waited for the car to arrive, we decided to ask for a pizza. And it was amazing! Made in the moment, baked in a fire oven and it tasted so good. Highly recommend the food and a high five...

Absolutely delicious pizza's and the staff are super, super friendly. They have a small table / counter and 7 high chairs if like us you want to sit in..

The 'wood fired' pizza's served here (which come in 3 size options 26cm, 29cm & 33cm) knock the rubbish you get in the restaurants located in the centre of La Rochelle out of the park... If you're on hire bikes, it's easy to get to.....

Personnel pourri, appeler ce soir à 20h40 pour une commande, L’interlocuteur Était désagréable comme s’il parlait à un enfant handicapé. Je lui ai demandé simplement si il faisait certaines pizzas entre parenthèses halal dans leur restaurant ce qu’il y a instauré directement, un froid glacial et hautain entre lui, et moi une fois après avoir fait ma commande, il me demande dans quel secteur je suis je lui réponds les minimes et il ose me dire avec un ton hautain je cite "Euuuh truouvé un truc près de chez vous" Car à se que j’ai compris je suis trop loin placé car il sont situé à se que j’ai compris à coté du pont de l’île de Ré. Dans mon souvenir c’est Saint-Maurice pizza et pas île de Ré pizza. Or cela est peut-être une erreur de ma part qui sait. Bref on ne m’avait dit que du bien sur cette pizzeria mais En conclusion, je ne pourrai pas noter le talent des pizzaiolo, mais le personnel d’accueil est franchement...
