We had a fantastic evening at the Salle a Manger. We sat under the Bastide arches with a gentle breeze and received a warm welcome with attentive service. We ate in our opinion the best truffle pizza in the Gironde! (We’ve tried a few to be able to say that). A very tasty carpaccio of beef. Then we all had the special of the day which was outstanding👏🏻. A delicious seafood ceviche with a refreshing cucumber and yoghurt sauce known as Salpicon. It was heavenly and perfect for a hot Summer’s evening. We were delighted to hear that it will be a permanent feature on the menu. It’s a must. You’ve got to try it. Amazing place, would 1000% recommend. Dinner with a large group of 13 and the host and his staff were incredibly accommodating especially for a gluten free and vegetarian member of the group. The truffle pizzas were incredible and the pork and beef ribs absolutely amazing. Our group raved about the food for our whole trip! Great value wine as attached to the wine shop next door. Great location in the main square and meals cooked in an open kitchen freshly to order....

Fantastic food and wine Having not eaten red meat in years this meal was definitely worth it. Lovely champagne and wine Restaurant was lovely inside and out. Loads of nice things to buy inside such as chutneys jarred items, nibbles. Food was 10/10 and the steak was incredible.
