Good local cuisine, the place was clean and tidy. Get yourself something local, the pizza wasn't a good choice, but snails or seafood was something I would try again. Be prepared to butcher a little bit of French; nobody was able to speak English (even in my Czech version of English language). The service was horribly slow. Be ready that you're a guest in France and the time is not yours, do not rush the things, they'll get upset. Also, if you sit outside, other guests do not care about you eating and smoke no matter what. Excellent extensive veggie plate of fried eggs, hot vegetables, and salad inc. asparagus. Top covered with shaved tomatoes and mayonnaise. I mistook this covering for smoked salmon when it arrived, and protested, only to apologise upon realising my error about the salmon lookalike! Nichée au cœur de Coucy-le-Château, cette adresse discrète mérite qu’on s’y attarde. Dès l’entrée, l’ambiance chaleureuse et le décor soigné donnent le ton : ici, on se sent bien, comme à la maison… mais avec une vraie cuisine de chef en prime.

Le service, mené par un personnel souriant et attentionné, ajoute à l’expérience une touche de convivialité qu’on retrouve rarement ailleurs. Les propriétaires, accueillants et passionnés, incarnent cette générosité qui se ressent jusque dans l’assiette.

Côté cuisine, c’est un véritable plaisir gustatif. Les pizzas — spécialité de la maison — allient une pâte légère et moelleuse à des garnitures savoureuses et parfaitement équilibrées. On est loin de la pizza standard : ici, chaque bouchée est une caresse pour le palais. Il y en a pour tous les goûts, des classiques bien maîtrisées aux propositions plus audacieuses.
