Le Punch — Restaurant in Le Marin

We visited the restaurant with a group of 6 people in November. It was coincidence that we choosed to eat here but it was the best thing that could‘ve happened! This guy and his partner are outstanding! You could sneak a look into the kitchen from outside and you could see that this cook was firing up a firework :) Just 2 people were rocking this place! Cook and dishwasher at the same time and the restaurant was full this evening. Food was on point and honestly i am not sure if i had a dinner experience like this before and anywhere or in europe. I could‘t help myself and i had to ask him where he learned all these skills. Fantastic! We have eaten here twice now and both times it was excellent! I had the ceviche and tartare. The fish is very fresh and just the right amount of ingredients to make it a well balanced and tasty meal! The smoked marlin with bursts was also very good. I liked it and I don’t usually liked smoked fish. My partner had the lamb and the Tiger Beef. He enjoyed both very much.

We were greeted by the chef just before they opened and he was kind enough to explain that they didn’t have tina, but they did have wahoo and the different ways he could prepare it.

One street back from the front (Marina), this small restaurant (outside but under cover) served amazing food freshly prepared from what they could get, a small menu but everything we had was very tasty! My wife is dairy free and they accommodated her with good grace and made her feel very welcome - in the end it was the same main with the mashed potato swapped for a lovely polenta.
