Ti Toques — Restaurant in Le Marin

A bit pricey and I was wrongly worried that the menu looked rather plain. If they could use some help with their descriptions their preparation was spot-on. Linguine with super tender calamari rings and fresh shrimp had a spectacular sauce accompanying. The plate was beautiful and everything was very fresh. Duck breast was fine perfectly and twice the expected portion size with a nice salad and French fries. Not knowing any of the selections we went with the cheapest bottle of white wine which turned out to be delicious and service was terrific throughout with our waiter managing to handle our lack of the language...

Ate at this amazing restaurant a few times in recent weeks. The quality of food was fantastic - for example, if you want incredible AND truly home made carbonara (including pasta made there on site) then you’re in luck. Atmosphere is great too….the owner (Elisabeth) is very warm, welcoming & fun; Max the head server was just the very same. Location is wonderful too. Downtown Marin…near the marina, other bars and the famous beaches @ Les Salines, Sainte Anne etc. Can highly recommend for a date night or an evening with the entire family. We will be...

Nous y avons mangé il y a une semaine, c'était bien ! La nourriture n'était pas excellente mais on a passé une bonne soirée, des bons cocktails, super service etc. Hier nous y sommes retournés et c'était la cata. On a du demander au bar de prendre notre commande puisque le serveur avait clairement zappé, ça faisait plus d'une demie heure et il était dans le jus complet. (En sa défense, Le resto était plein à craquer, peut être est il temps d'embaucher quelqu'un d'autre pour la saison ???) Ensuite on demande une bouteille de merlot, il nous ouvre un Cabernet Sauvignon nous sert et repart. On lui demande quelque chose de plus rond, il se moque de nous en disant que toutes façons le merlot était exactement pareil (????). Au final on demande à changer pour une bouteille de Brouilly qui arrive glaciale, on lui dit merci mais un peu froide et il nous rit au nez en disant que "Ba comme Les vins de la Loire ça se sert à 8C", mon mari répond que "non pas spécialement" auquel Le serveur répond que "ah ba c'est peut être mon école hôtelière qui se trompe?". Bref on sourit, un peu gênés et on essaye de réchauffer notre vin.... au final on a regardé sur internet puisqu'on ne voulait pas dire de bêtises là bas mais OUI MONSIEUR votre école hôtelière se trompe, Le vin était presque gelé et c'est vraiment mauvais de nous prendre de haut comme ça. Sinon à part ça, cette fois ci on a prit des pizzas. NE PRENNEZ PAS DE PIZZAS ! Pas belles, pas bonnes et un bide en vrac aujourd'hui. Merci, on a eu assez, on ne reviendra bien...
