Nice establishment with very attentive friendly waiters but the food is bland and no time is given in between the starters, main and dessert. I started with the local dish that has liver and kidneys which was served luke warm and did not taste very well. The waiter was so kind to replace it immediately with the salmon millefeuille at no charge. As it was immediately served, it became clear that these have been prepared beforehand, I guess the same with the other starters and also the desserts that are just kept in a fridge. A mousse was layered between the salmon layers but had no distinctive flavour, just filling. Imediately after that the meat was presented, correctly baked but just a small flat steak, not very tender. I just had finished that and the dessert 'terril', white choclate inside a pyramid of a crusty dark chocolate, was served. Nice presentation but little taste again apart from just a sugar overload. Paid 50euros for a meal that one would get in a mediocre bristrot. Very...

Enjoyed our starters very much (faux fois gras & mariolle panna cotta) and had high expectations for our mains.
Our mains arrived (slow cooked beef and veal fillet) and presentation felt similar to 1970s gimmicky restaurants. Both mains were served with an identical side of assorted veg that did not complement the dishes (e.g an undercooked watery mushroom, 1 or 2 bland potatoes, half a shallot which still had its skin on, watery red cabbage) and some glazes which had very little flavour.
Both the meats left a lot to be desired - the veal was very tough and the beef was dry and flavourless, and still had bit lumps of fat and sinew in it.
Neither of our party were able to finish our mains and we felt we were being ignored by waitstaff, who began setting tables for breakfast the next day around us which did not help the atmosphere.
Overall a thoroughly...
Read moreThe service is good and the staff are friendly and helpful. The menu is simple and local made from fresh ingredients. We enjoyed the restaurant food and the wines are good.
We also ate from the bar menu. This was fine but the selection of cheese and charcuterie was the same as what was on offer for breakfast. The online menu had some extra items on it which looked like fun but sadly on the night we visited were not available. On the positive side, the cheese is first class and the charcuterie was ok. The restaurant and bar is a very pleasant place to...
