Coté Remblai — Restaurant in Les Sables-d'Olonne

We recently bought a holiday home in Apremont. The home was in a big mess, and we'd spent hours every day for a week cleaning, repairing, throwing away furniture etc. It wasn't really much of a holiday up to visiting Sables D'Ollone, yet here we were in the most beautiful of seaside towns, on a gloriously sunny day, and we decided to pop into this bar for drinks.

We were met by a friendly lady who served us. The drinks were reasonably priced, and we had a lovely view of the sea.

This was the first day we'd actually done something pleasant, and it was a delight to be in the sunshine with a nice beer. In fact my youngest son must've thought he was in Spain, as he said gracias to the lady :o)

We're back home in the UK now, but shall be returning back to the area for the summer school holidays, and frankly I can't wait. We'll certainly go back to this bar again, and probably get ourselves a meal when we're not in such a rush.

Thanks to all of the staff, who were all friendly, including the young guy who took my money at the till, who spoke English to me. My French isn't the best :o)

Depuis que le nouveau propriétaire a repris les rênes du Restaurant , une véritable métamorphose s’est opérée. L’expérience culinaire est désormais à la hauteur des plus grandes attentes, avec des plats aussi délicieux qu’esthétiquement plaisants. Chaque bouchée est un voyage gustatif, où les saveurs traditionnelles et modernes se mêlent avec brio. Le service est tout simplement impeccable. Le personnel est attentif, réactif et d’une courtoisie sans faille. Ils anticipent les besoins avec une discrétion et une efficacité remarquables, contribuant à une atmosphère détendue et accueillante. Quant à la vue, elle est époustouflante. Situé au bord de la mer, le restaurant offre un panorama qui captive les sens. Le coucher de soleil y est particulièrement magnifique, teintant le ciel de couleurs chaudes et offrant un spectacle naturel inoubliable. En somme, coté remblai est une adresse incontournable pour tous ceux qui cherchent à allier gastronomie de haut vol et cadre idyllique. Une expérience à ne...

Bof bof.. Établissement qui a du charme et typique du bord de mer.. Carte et menu de brasserie.. Sur un simple week-end long de mai et dépassé par les événements.. Je sais qu'il y a pénurie de personnels mais là quand même.. La personne qui nous accueille de façon plutôt moyen. Nous sommes à peine installés qu'on nous précise que le service doit être rapide 😕.. Apéro servi, commande déjà demandé.. Pour une crêperie brasserie, on nous explique que les crêpes ça va être compliqué et très long donc prenez autre chose.. Pourtant 5 tables de prises.. 😕.. Un groupe de 6 arrive et demande une table et la gérante explique que nous allons partir (nous en sommes qu'au repas) d'attendre à une autre table et de consommer 😳😳😳Bref très expéditif..
