Great cozy rich experience! This small, colorful place is located in the port of the city, near the beach and its pedestrian crossing. Although small (I recommend you call to make reservation), you can feel the warmth and flavorful ambience once you enter. The service was very nice, and they will answer and recommend in base of your preference in food. The owner was very welcoming and will even exchange long talks about his history, family and knowledge. Their are several different types (fish, beef, chicken, vegetarian) of dishes each inspired by the different parts of the African continent. All of them are very rish in flavors and are not spicy. In addition to the main dish you will have a large tray full of hot (some VERY hot) sauces to add at your risk/taste hahaha. From our order I highly recommend the veggie noodle tapas, the banana with goat cheese and honey starter, and all the main dishes were good with good portions. Un restaurant qui m'avait été conseillé depuis 2022, je n'avais malheureusement pas pu y aller suite à une fermeture pendant mes vacances, c'est qu'en 2024 que je fais le premier pas.

La carte donne envie quand on ne connaît pas et j'avais eu que des avis positif dans mon entourage.

Malheureusement, j'en ressort très déçu : En entré, un soame qui était très bon, mais mes amis n'avaient pas le même avis après plusieurs année à y mettre les pieds,

Un apéritif (Je ne me souviens plus le nom du cocktail, il était de couleur rouge) très sympathique que j'ai voulu en reprendre un 2ème, on m'annonce à table qu'il y en a plus. 5 minutes après, un employé en cuisine s'installe en terrasse avec un coktail identique a celui j'ai demandé. En plat, j'ai demandé un mafé poulet : Un poulet qui n'était pas exceptionnel comparé au bœuf pris par mes amis, un riz qui croustille en bouche, soit pas assez cuit et ce n'était pas un riz cassé mais plutôt un riz basmati, je suis censé avoir des poireaux, il y en avait pas , les patates douces et les épices quasi inexistant. J'ai fais l'effort de terminer l'assiette parce que j'ai payé et éviter un gaspillage mais elle ne valait clairement pas son prix !

Aucun dessert de pris après une assiette incomplète, j'ai préféré éviter un énième problème.

Nous avons remonté les problèmes à l'équipe, lors de l'addition, aucun geste n'a été réalisé après un mensonge et une assiette qui ne respectait pas la carte pour ma part. Nous avons appris que ce n'était pas le chef habituel en cuisine comme mes amis sont des habitués depuis des années. Les serveurs étaient agréables et efficaces.
