The place and the river view is amazing, however I still cant forget how disappointed I was with the food. It was cooked waaaay in advance and simply warmed up for us. There is no surprise they are closed now. Updated* - I'm sorry for rating the "room" in your restaurant. I have fixed this error. The restaurant is perfectly positioned on the estuary in haut Medoc. They have a superb wine list and this is a key feature. My husband chose the fish and it was excellent, I chose the chicken which was tasty but slightly over cooked. We both chose a glass of rose which fitted our mood for the day, having bought 6 bottles of cru bourgeois Haute Medoc in the village on the way there. Notre séjour de 2 nuits a l’hôtel de la maison du douanier a été fabuleux . ||Difficile d’ailleurs de comprendre le commentaire précédent... ||Le cadre se prête à la déconnexion, pas besoin de wi-fi , pas besoin de télé ; ça fait du bien aussi....!||D’ailleurs nous avions ces deux éléments à disposition dans notre chambre.||||Il est compliqué de faire mieux avec ce calme environnant, cette nature foisonnante et la qualité du personnel .|| La chambre que nous avions, avait une vue fantastique sur l’estuaire de la Gironde et sur les carrelets.||Les équipements de cette chambre étaient très adaptés,nombreux et qualitatifs.||Le professionnalisme des trois associés avec lesquels nous avons conversé, nous a inspiré le respect et un certain bien etre. ||La restauration est de haute volée et le service en salle est professionnel, sobre et efficace.||Nous avons pu tester l’ouverture de la cabane du douanier, cet endroit est un excellent complément du restaurant .||Cette cabane appelle à la convivialité, et ,est aussi un lieu de vie pour les locaux.||||Allez-y les yeux fermés, vous ne le...
