This place is a real gem! Great coffees and Teas. The owners roast their own beans on site. The decorations on the coffees with milk are fantastic. And the cakes are home made by the owners. When we are in Lacanau Ville and Lacanau-Océan visiting this place s a must and frequently. Since there is great horseback riding school within a few Kilometers, this is the place to hang out. And the owners are super friendly. AAA+++

This is an update in June 2025. Ocean Coffee has added a kitchen serving sandwiches which are excellent. The avocado toast with and an egg is excellent. This is still the BEST PLACE! AAA+++

New update for August 2025, still the best coffee and snacks in the area. The lunch snack additions are great items and the avocado toast is excellent for breakfast. The owners are really nice people taking good care of us customers....

Food and coffee was lovely. The attitude of the staff was horrible and intimidating. We’ve had a lovely week in Le Porge and thought we’d stop for coffee on our way home but they were rude as soon as we arrived. We took a little while to order as there were 7 of us and after being told there were pastries, one of us asked for a pain au choc to then be told ‘no, we’re not a bakery’. Wir waren für 10 Tage in Le Porge und waren 4 Mal im Ocean Coffee. Es ist echt ein Volltreffer. Die Speisen sind einfach wunderbar – frisch, liebevoll angerichtet und voller Geschmack. Besonders der Avocado Toast haut dich echt um: knuspriges Brot, perfekt gereifte Avocado, fein abgestimmte Gewürze – da stimmt einfach alles.

Was ausserdem sofort auffällt: Das Café ist sehr sauber. Sowohl der Gastraum als auch die sanitären Anlagen sind top gepflegt und hygienisch, was heutzutage leider keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr ist.

Zum Dessert kann ich den „Brookie“ wärmstens empfehlen – eine geniale Kombi aus Brownie und Cookie. Einfach unverschämt lecker!
